If you believe Alfredo sauce is only a pasta sauce you will be amazed
with by the combination of the alfredo sauce and shrimps with the
tilapia.
Ingredients:
4 tilapia fillets
3/4 lb shrimp cleaned, and shelled
1 cup alfredo sauce
2 tablespoons creole seasoning
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 sweet red pepper sliced very thin
2 cloves garlic finely chopped
4 tablespoons butter, divided
3 tablespoons parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425 F.
Wash and dry the tilapia filets. Spread with the 3 tablespoons olive oil and the 2 tablespoons creole seasoning.
Place in a greased baking pan. Place in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes until just white.
While the fish is baking, saute the red pepper with 1 tablespoon butter for about 5 minutes until cooked..
In a small saucepan, heat the Alfredo sauce.
In a skillet, melt 3 tablespoons butter. Add the cleaned shrimps, and the minced garlic and saute for about 5 minutes.
When
the fish is ready, remove the baking pan from the oven. Place the fish
fillets in the plates. Then add one quarter of the red pepper and one
quarter of the cooked shrimp on top of fillets.
Top with 1/4 cup
of the Alfredo sauce and sprinkle with the grated parmesan cheese. Put
under the broiler for about 1 minute and serve.
